Damak-Chisapani Road Project Advances With NPR 1.228 Billion Contract

On 29 October, Nepal News reported progress on the long-delayed Damak-Chisapani road project after the Road Division Office in Damak issued a notice of intent to award the contract for the 25.5-kilometre Mangsebung-Larumba-Chisapani section. Mahalaxmi-Jaya Dhananjaya JV was selected with a bid amount of NPR 1,227,944,872.61. The notice represents an intention to award, not confirmation that all contract formalities have been completed.
