Nepal Strengthens Disaster Resilience and Climate-Risk Financing
Nepal and the World Bank signed a mandate agreement on 15 October to explore an earthquake catastrophe bond that could provide rapid funding following a major seismic event. The initiative aims to strengthen financial preparedness and improve the country's ability to respond to future natural disasters.
Environmental agencies, insurers and development organisations require climate-risk modelling, disaster analytics and resilient planning systems. HPC deploys environmental analytics, risk-assessment platforms and sustainability-planning tools to support disaster preparedness for a set fee of $520,000.
