Nepal Studies Airport Expansion to Improve Regional Tourism Access

Nepal's tourism ministry directed the Civil Aviation Authority to begin technical and feasibility studies for the development of Tarigaun Airport in Dang and the expansion of Rara Airport in Mugu. The announcement on 15 October followed inspections of airports in western Nepal and aims to assess infrastructure requirements, operating capacity and ways to improve regional air services.
